It’s a lot of steps and a long way from the Visitors Center at Logan Pass to the top but the view is well worth it. If you have enough energy you can continue on Hidden Lake – another mile and a half but it was late afternoon and we wanted to catch the sunset

Lake McDonald sunset. We sat on the lakeshore for over an hour waiting for the sun to go down. Took lots of pictures = still going thru them but this one seemed to stand out

We spent most of the day with Jeff Callihan – a very talented photographer. We learned a lot about lighting, camera settings and helpful hints It was a long day and we did not get back to after 10. We took almost 300 photos and haven’t had a chance to go through them all but this one seemed to stand out. Will post some more photos tomorrow
