We stopped at the Owl’s Nest Overlook. We had to walk up a bunch of stairs to get to the top but it was well worth it. Some other hikers mentioned that you can hike around that pond so another reason to come back.

Peacham Pond. Several years ago we drove to Peacham since we had read that it was the most photographed town in Vermont. To be truthful – we didn’t see that much and i am not sure if we ever took any photos – Grafton and Weston are prettier. . We were on our way to another part of Groton State Park but when we saw the sign for Peacham Pond we had to stop. Peacham Pond is more of a fishing or vacation spot and we could not walk around the lake.

The sun finally came out so we headed to Groton State Park. We have never been there before but have heard good things about it. There were a lot of ponds and trails so we will definitely go back This was on the trail around Peacham Pond
