Headed back to the Moose Wilson Road to see if we could find any wildlife. We stopped at the big parking lot and decided to walk on one of trails that we had never been on. We hadn’t gone very far when we spotted some people who motioned us to be quiet and whispered there was a bear in the woods. Luckily Michael had the tripod with him and started taking pictures.

Decided to head to Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge since the sun is shining and its so nice outside. We haven’t been there in a number of years. The refuge is nestled beneath the mountains north of the Presidential Range.

From Thorne Pond you can walk down to the Saco River. It was just beautiful walking alongside the River. We were stopping every couple of minutes to take pictures

While we were on the lighthouse tour, the narrator pointed out a WW II P51 Mustang and a B25 Mitchell bomber flying overhead and told us about some World War II airplanes that were on display at the local airport, so we decided to stop. In addition to the B25 and P51, there was a B17 Flying Fortress and a B24 Liberator. They were offering rides on the P51 and the B25. It was amazing to see these legendary aircraft up close and the fact that they were still flying. My husband walked through the B24 and was surprised how tight it was in some areas.

We decided to stop at Bluff Point State Park. We walked a little over a mile to the Point. Path was pretty level and parts of the path were alongside the beach.
