What a crazy day at work. Now that my big project is done I had visions of catching up on things. Was making great progress until around noon when the power went out. For some reason one side of our building lost power of course it was my side. It was not out that long but our server room is on the side that lost power. So it took almost an hour for the servers to reboot so we could use our computers. So I decided to do the bank run. On the way back, I stopped outside our building and snapped a few shots.

Big project done. Deadline met. Meeting went well. Client happy Big sigh of relief. While I was doing the dishes after supper, I looked out the window and noticed how pretty the sky was. Grabbed the camera and headed for the marina. Got out of the car and the closer I got to the water, the colder it seemed to be. The wind was really blowing and you could hear the lines on the boats clanging. Did not realize it was that cold out. My hands were so cold and I did not have have gloves with me. I thought the groundhog saw his shadow and spring was here. So, I quickly snapped a few pictures, got back in the car and when I got home made some hot tea, turned on the gas fireplace and tried to warm up.

It was supposed to rain on and off all day today – but it’s after 4 and I have yet to see a rain drop. That’s fine with me. We ran some errands and then did a bit of yard work. Then it was time to play – got the camera and walked around the yard and then spotted these tall grasses in a neighbor’s yard. They seemed to be calling me

I stopped at my favorite place on the way to work this morning. Took some pictures of the sunrise. Long day at work trying to meet a deadline – numbers and excel works starting to blur by the end of the day. Got home and when I went to get my small point and shoot camera could not find it in my purse. Okay – maybe it fell out in the car – so out to the car – no luck – okay – back inside check my purse and tote – no luck so back to the car and check under the seat and between seat and door – no luck. Hopefully, its on the floor under my desk but will have to wait until Monday morning to find out. We went out to dinner and then went to Barnes and Noble. Really enjoying browsing all the books. So thought I would take a picture of new mysteries so I would have a photo of the day and also a list of new books to put on reserve at the library. Then it was off to check all the new photography magazines.
