A very cold windy day. Coldest day this winter. With the wind chill it was below zero for most of the day
My walking buddies got together for a progressive dinner tonight. We had appetizers at one house and then to house two for salad, soup and bread. Then onto house three for dessert. Food was delicious. Had a wonderful time. So lucky to have such a great bunch of friends

Headed to Annapolis and spotted this bright sail on the Severn River so had to make a detour. By the time we got to the Naval Academy and parked the boat was on the other side of the river and close to the houses but you can still see how colorful the sail is

I have been wishing for snow but nothing much near Annapolis. There has been snow north and west of Baltimore and lots in Vermont and New York. We had a brief snow shower this afternoon so whenI got home from work headed to the backyard with my camera to see if I could get a few good shots

Yesterday it was almost 70 degrees. But tonight it’s 35 degrees – what a difference a day makes. Took this at the boat launching site at the marina Was surprised to see all the different colors on the wooden wall in the background. It’s really damp and chilly outside – had to turn the fireplace on when I got home so I could warm up. Also had a glass of some red wine to reward myself for going out on a damp and chilly night
