Whenever we are in Dorset, we usually take a drive on FS #10 that runs from Danby to Landgrove and then you can continue on to Weston and the Vermont Country Store. Its especially pretty in the fall.

Loved this picture – the work clothes were hung out to dry
This was the only moose we saw. We have been to Vermont numerous times and have only seen one moose and that one was walking down Route 7 a few miles from Dorsety
If you are ever in Stowe, Vermont be sure and stay at the Stone Hill Inn. We have been there 4 times and if we lived closer than 7 hours we would be there several times a year. It’s one of our favorite bed and breakfasts. This is just part of the beautiful gardens.

Beautiful day today. We decided to go to Blackwater Wildlife Refuge for one final test of loaner camera. It was 77 degrees. However, snow flurries in forecast for next week. Welcome to Maryland

Erosion sticks. At last count 8,000 acres or 12 sq, miles of marsh land have been lost since the park was established. The sticks are just one of several different methods to help restore some of the wetlands.
