Another beautiful fall day. We went to the Fall Festival in Annapolis. They closed off one of the streets. There was an Irish Band and one of the restaurants had tables in the street and there were a bunch of vendors. Was surprised there were no fellow photographers selling pictures. The cameras were outside one of the stores and of course we had to stop an take a photo. Also had to take a photo of the horse from a carousel Then we walked over to Main Street and ended up taking a 40 minute boat tour. The boat company has day trips to St Michaels and we may do that next year.

Went for an early morning walk and took a few pictures but nothing great so decided to use this one from yesterday. These were all out in front of Whole Foods. I joked with Michael and said if all else fails go to Whole Foods. It was warm today 82 degrees but we had some rain tonight so hopefully it will cool things off – I like the 70 degree temperatures

What a beautiful day! We decided to go to the Naval Academy and walk around the grounds. There were a lot of sailboats and other boats out today. Liked this picture the best

Stopped at Greenbury Point and noticed this beautiful flower just off the path. Not sure what it is – something thought it was a trumpet vine. I just love the colors

What a beautiful day – it’s in low 70’s and no humidity. We opened all of the windows and decided that we needed to go some place. Decided to go to Back Creek Park in Annapolis – one of the last places on our list of parks in the area. My first thought was that it was going to be disappointing but then we walked around a bend and there were all these geese by the water.

Since it was so warm today – in the high 80’s we just decided to go to Quiet Water’s Park. This is a view of the South River from the park. What a great way to celebrate Memorial Day weekend and the beginning of summer. There was a nice breeze – wish we had brought our books with us
