Beautiful day. Temperatures hit 60. We decided to go to Blackwater Wildlife Refuge

We were hoping to see some snow geese and lucked out. They were a little too far away to get a good picture
Was surprised to see how low the water was in some places
Spotted this eagle and then spotted an eagle’s nest in the distance

Beautiful day and neither of us had any meetings so we decided to go to Blackwater Wildlife Refuge. We were t sure how much we would see since it was warm and middle of the days. Saw lots of herons snd egrets and turtles
The wildflower gardens were in full bloom managed to catch a bee on this plant

Beautiful day today. We decided to go to Blackwater Wildlife Refuge for one final test of loaner camera. It was 77 degrees. However, snow flurries in forecast for next week. Welcome to Maryland
Erosion sticks. At last count 8,000 acres or 12 sq, miles of marsh land have been lost since the park was established. The sticks are just one of several different methods to help restore some of the wetlands.
