Took this at the alpaca farm.  Could not resist the red barns and the mountains in the background.

Shortly after we got back to the bed and breakfast there was a bad thunderstorm.  There was one clap of thunder that was so loud it scared us all.  There was a lightning strike nearby and it knocked out the phones, internet and tv service at the bed and breakfast we are staying at.  Service did not get restored until late this afternoon so that’s why I am just now posting pictures from yesterday.

Strange day today – one minute it was overcast and then the next minute it seemed to be clearing.  When it was close to quitting time, the sky started to darken and I got a text message for a severe thunderstorm warning.  Decided to head home and try to beat the storm.  By the time I got home the skies were blue but there were still clouds.  So I decided to head to the marina and see if I could get some good shots.  Wanted something a little different and have always had good luck at the marina.

It’s Saturday and the skies are blue, the sun is shining and it’s in the 60s.  We decided to head to the Eastern Shore.  Stopped at a winery and then Chestertown.  We have not been to Chestertown in years.  Walked around and spotted this steeple amidst the clouds.
