Rainy day today so we didn’t do a lot. We went to a couple of wineries and the aquarium. Spotted this submarine in downtown Mystic. Off to Freeport, Maine tomorrow. We will only be there for a day so hope it doesn’t rain all day so we can get some scenery shots

We decided to take a lighthouse cruise from New London. It lasted about two hours. If you are in the area we highly suggest the tour.
New London Ledge Lighthouse. This lighthouse reminds us of the lighthouse in the Hudson River near my hometown of Athens, New York.
It’s reportedly haunted by the ghost of an early keeper named Ernie.

New London Harbor Light is the oldest lighthouse in Connecticut. The original New London Light helped guide colonial privateers who sought shelter up the Thames River during the American Revolution.

We decided to stop at Bluff Point State Park. We walked a little over a mile to the Point. Path was pretty level and parts of the path were alongside the beach.
