Decided to take the day off so we could go on field trip and take photos. Frankenstorm is headed this way and Michael has a class tomorrow so today might be last chance to get some fall photos. We went to Seneca Creek State Park in Montgomery Co. What a find. There is a lake with trail all around the lake. We walked for about two hours and took lots of photos Really hard to decide which ones we liked the best. So I picked a few – enjoy

The leaves seem to get more beautiful every day. The reds are my favorites. Took this shot on our evening walk. Before too long it will be dark and we won’t be able to walk in the evenings. Will really miss that. Heard that Tropical Storm Sandy might be headed this way – if that’s the case I better take as many fall photos as I can.

I love fall but the days are getting shorter and it’s hard to get a good photo. Took this on the way home. Liked the red leaves and the shadows.
Last day of vacation. Surprised that the leaves had changed so much in the few days we were gone. Took this in the backyard. Really like the shadows Still no word from Nikon – hopefully tomorrow

Stopped at grocery store to pick up some flowers for a friends birthday and walked past this display. Of course, I had to get my camera out. Took several more pictures during the day but this one turned out the best.

Another busy day. I took a couple of pictures this morning before work but they didn’t turn out that great – guess it was because I did not have any chai. Worked thru lunch and then had a company event after work so have to post a picture from yesterday. Who knew there were that many different kinds of apples. I bought some honey crisp – several people at cooking class were telling me how great they are.

Went for an early morning walk and took a few pictures but nothing great so decided to use this one from yesterday. These were all out in front of Whole Foods. I joked with Michael and said if all else fails go to Whole Foods. It was warm today 82 degrees but we had some rain tonight so hopefully it will cool things off – I like the 70 degree temperatures
