Another beautiful day. A bit warm for fall though – low 80’s. Decided to head to Downs Park and see if any of the leaves have changed. As you can see – not much of a change yet.

I haven’t had time to walk the last two nights and I missed it. So … I headed out tonight after supper. I was really surprised to see how these leaves had turned. Love the colors.
When I started this blog in January of 2012, I thought it would be a good way for my friends and relatives to see some of our pictures. I never dreamed I would end up with 100 followers Thanks to all of you for taking the time to stop by

Fall is just around the corner. Went for a walk with a neighbor tonight. We used to walk every Sunday until she hurt her foot. We were busy catching up and since she is not a photo nut like me – only took a few pictures. The leaves caught my eye. Several people told me that the Farmer’s Almanac is predicting a cold winter and a big snow storm the first weekend in February which is Super Bowl weekend and this year the Super Bowl is going to be outside in New Jersey. Will have to wait and see how accurate they are

Stopped at the library this morning to drop off some books. I tried to get a picture of a tulip that was in a planter but when I uploaded the pictures the tulip was blurry so had to crop the picture and just show the leaves.

Lin and Michael’s Photos 2012
This is view from our family room window. I have been trying to capture this view for a couple of weeks. It’s kind of hard because I have a bookshelf in the corner and the couch is close to the window. My previous attempts did not work out. So while I was cleaning, I moved the couch out of the way and thought let’s try this one more time. I took some pictures and then ran upstairs with the chip and said to my husband. Upload these and see if there is anything good while I continue cleaning. I started cleaning again and in just a bit he said come upstairs – I think the screen is causing problems. So I guess I better take the screen out and try again because who knows how much longer the leaves are going to be on the tree. Took some more photos and in fact at one point I was even laying on the floor trying to get a good shot. Anything for a good photo. So this is the best of the bunch. It could be better but at this point I still had to finish cleaning.

I know another fall photo. Just could not help myself. Fall is my favorite time of the year and red leaves are my favorite. This year the red leaves seem to be lasting a lot longer. Took day off from work and went for a walk around the neighborhood. Spotted this beautiful tree in a neighbor’s yard and just had to stop and take some photos.
