Hot and humid day today and I had a dentist appointment this afternoon so decided to take it easy when I got home. Took this picture Monday night near the marina. The tree was just amazing. Reminded me of when someone see’s something scary and the hair on top of their head stands up. Does anyone know what kind of tree it is

Busy day today with errands and yard work so not much time for photos. This is the first calla lily in the yard to bloom. Love the color. Looks great enlarged

Our neighbor had to have a dead tree taken down today It was at least 70 feet tall and was between our houses. They used the same tree service that we did last month. This time I got to watch part of the process. I sure would not want that job.

Rain again this afternoon. After supper, I headed to the marina. Wanted to take some pictures of something besides flowers. Just outside the marina there is a row of flowers – a beautiful assortment of lilies and daisies. These white lilies kept calling me to take their photo. Love the raindrops on the petals.

Happy Father’s Day to everyone. Lazy day today – went to Mass and Barnes and Noble and relaxed the rest of day by reading.

Today is our wedding anniversary. 45 years with the love of my life – I am so blessed. Our son took us out to dinner last night to celebrate.

Some people like to walk in the rain but the passionate photographer is out looking for a good photo. Tropical Storm Andrea hit Maryland last last night and it’s still raining and supposed to rain until late tonight. We went to our usual Friday night wine and cheese tasting and then were heading out to dinner in Annapolis but traffic was at a standstill so we headed home. After I grabbed a bite to eat headed out to the yard. The lilies just started to bloom a couple of days ago and a couple of them are in full bloom. It was hard to decide which pictures I liked the most. Guess that means I am improving.
