Noticed this in someone’s yard on my evening walk. I wasn’t sure how it would come out since it’s taller than I am. I had to step into their yard and reach up to get the shot. I didn’t even realize until someone pointed it out to me that there is a tiny spider peaking out

We had planned to go to the Renaissance Fair but Mother Nature had other plans. It was really humid today – my glasses kept fogging up every time I went outside. It also rained on and off most of the morning and early afternoon. I went outside to see if I could get some photos of flowers in the yard with raindrops – but rain had all dried up. Walked over to the garden and this butterfly was fluttering all around. It kept flapping its wings like a hummingbird and it was hard to get a good shot. Liked the one with his wings fluttering – and also liked the one where it finally settled for a second.

It rained last night. The temperatures were cooler today – only 82 degrees but it was still very humid. Decided to go to Terrapin Park which is across the Bay Bridge and right alongside the Chesapeake Bay. The white flowers or bushes were everywhere and they had a great smell. Managed to get a few pictures – but there were lots of people there and it was overcast

Another humid day and how can it be September already. Where did the summer go. Went for a walk after supper and wouldn’t you know it – it started to thunder so decided to cut the walk short. But – it didn’t rain until a lot later that night. Hopefully it will cool things off.

The last day of August – where did the summer go? Had the day off today as the Grand Prix is in Baltimore and a lot of the roads are closed. It was another hot day – 97 degrees – Ran a lot of errands. While Michael was buying bagels I was outside taking photos. This turned out the best. It’s supposed to be cooler on Sunday and Monday so hopefully we can get out and get some good shots.
