Weather forecast said 30% chance of rain and boy were they wrong. It’s been raining most of the day and we have several downpours. Just checked and it’s going to rain rest of day. We ended up having over 3 inches of rain. These flowers are part of a arrangement on my kitchen island – not sure what the dark colored one is – but really liked the colors.

Met one of the midshipmen that we used to sponsor for dinner tonight He is visiting his brother and his family. Had dinner at Arundel Mills with him and one of his nieces and one of his nephews. It was good to see him again but no time for a walk or photos so decided to use this one that I took in a neighbor’s yard earlier this week

Spotted this by the marina tonight. Could not get close enough to take a great shot. Michael spotted the heron yesterday so hopefully it’s moved into the neighborhood and we will see it again soon and will be able to get a better photo.

Stopped at this house they are building in the neighborhood. We walked inside to see if we could figure out the rooms. Looked out the back and saw this beautiful sunset so of course I had to take a photo.

Another beautiful cool evening. Stopped at one of the beaches in our neighborhood and a group of ducks came ashore and very close to us. I took this as he was walking away.

Lyn and Michael’s Photos 2012

Much cooler today – thank goodness. Went for a walk after dinner tonight – saw an old friend I had not seen in a long time and caught up. Headed to the marina to take some photos. Liked this one the best. Then the clouds started rolling in and it started getting dark so we cut the walk short. Good thing because it started to pour a few minutes after we got home.
