I was sitting on the dock at the marina taking water reflection pictures and looked up and saw my shadow and thought why not do something different. My Mom always used to kid me because the majority of my pictures did have people in them. I always post pictures to 365 Project and this week’s theme is golden so thought this photo would work for the theme.

Marc came over tonight to celebrate his birthday so didn’t have much time to take photos. Found these in Vicki’s yard – will have to keep an eye on them and take a photo when they bloom
A little cooler today – went to Quiet Water’s Park to see the digital camera club photo exhibit. Then we went on a short walk. Spotted this butterfly and had to be patient until the butterfly settled in one place long enough to take a photo.

Went out to dinner tonight and on the way home we stopped at the marina so I could take some photos. It was around 8 o’clock – so later than I usually go to the marina. The sky was amazing with lots of shades of pink – took a bunch of photos and liked this one the best.

Another hot, humid day so I headed to the marina after dinner. I have not been there for a while. Took a bunch of shots but like this one the best. I was really surprised when I uploaded it as I did not see that many lines in the water when I took the shot.

365 Project has a weekly theme of rust – so I headed to the back yard – this is a piece of metal i found buried in the yard a number of years ago. I propped it up against a tree in the back yard. I took a bunch of pictures and was surprised how this one turned out.

Another hot, humid day with temperatures above 90 degrees so didn’t venture very far. Michael planted these flowers in our side yard earlier this year and they have done really well

Another hot day – it’s the 10th day in a row that temperatures have been 95 or above. Cold front is supposed to come tomorrow – sure hope so
