What a beautiful day today. The skies were so blue and clear that you could see for miles. The temperatures only reached the high 70’s. After supper, I headed to the marina – really wanted to get photos of something besides flowers. It was so relaxing just sitting on the pier – no phones, no traffic noises, no computers. Strange day today – one minute it was overcast and then the next minute it seemed to be clearing. When it was close to quitting time, the sky started to darken and I got a text message for a severe thunderstorm warning. Decided to head home and try to beat the storm. By the time I got home the skies were blue but there were still clouds. So I decided to head to the marina and see if I could get some good shots. Wanted something a little different and have always had good luck at the marina.

Walked outside this morning to go to work and was amazed at the colors of the sunrise. So, of course I had to drive to the marina and see if I could get any good pictures. Took a bunch of pictures and this one turned out the best. It’s amazing how every sunrise and sunset are so different.

Was surprised to see some red leaves in the water since it’s only September 9th. I love water reflections and liked how this one turned out.

I was sitting on the dock at the marina taking water reflection pictures and looked up and saw my shadow and thought why not do something different. My Mom always used to kid me because the majority of my pictures did have people in them. I always post pictures to 365 Project and this week’s theme is golden so thought this photo would work for the theme.

Went out to dinner tonight and on the way home we stopped at the marina so I could take some photos. It was around 8 o’clock – so later than I usually go to the marina. The sky was amazing with lots of shades of pink – took a bunch of photos and liked this one the best.

Wanted to do something red, white and blue for the holiday but since it was so hot i just headed to the marina and got this shot of reflection the water.

Another beautiful day. Love this cooler weather. Walked to the marina tonight and took a bunch of shots of reflections on the water. Hard to decide which ones I liked the best.
