A trip to Saratoga would not be complete without at lease one picture of a horse. This horse is outside the visitors center.
Saratoga is only about an hour from the B&B where we stay in Vermont. We were really surprised at the number of shops and restaurants. We had hoped to go to a winery but no luck. One of the wineries in town was closed, another one had not opened yet.
Tried to find one on the outskirts of town but address we put in GPS did not work and all we saw was an open field. We tried one more time in Port Edward but that one was closed and for sale. Oh well.
We still had a great day
Saratoga has long been known for its glorification of horses, but another popular part of Saratoga culture is dance. The city plays host to the annual Dance Flurry Festival, along with elaborate galas, the National Museum of Dance and the New York City Ballet summer season
The National Museum of Dance selected 24 artists for a project called Saratoga En Pointe! Each artist decorated a five-foot tall fiberglass ballet shoe sculpture. These fiberglass ballet shoes are displayed throughout the City of Saratoga at select locations
Stopped in at a great store in Saratoga Springs. Tea and Honey. There is a separate room in the back of the store for a honey bar and free tastings. First time I have seen anything like this – wonder how long it will be before there are some in Maryland.
We actually got to taste some Tupelo honey

We made good time so we decided to stop in Catskill and drive down to the point and see if we could get some good pictures. We have not been there in years. It has been turned into a really nice park. There is a playground, food stand, boat launch area and benches. I forgot to pack the big lens so had to make due with the lens on the camera. I was surprised that this turned out so nice. The leaves are just starting to change and there was very little red color and what color there is seems to be dull.
