I’ve got my eye on you.
It was raining when we got up this morning but it cleared up this afternoon. When I got home from work, we headed out for our afternoon walk. When we got one of the beaches, we looked to see if the ospreys had started rebuilding their nest. They haven’t. We decided it sit and look around to see if we could find any good photo ops when we heard and osprey. Michael found him on a tree limb and managed to get a lot of great pictures. It was hard to decide on just one

Coming in for a landing. We spotted the osprey nest and waited around for a while for a good photo. We even walked up the trail and took some more pictures and then came back to see if we could get a good shot. This one turned out the best. Think it may have seen us since it veered off before landing on the nest. Will have to go back in another week or so and see if we have any better luck.

Where is my nest? The ospreys have been nesting on top of this channel marker for years. A couple of weeks ago, we noticed the beginning of a nest but we had a big wind storm earlier this week and the nest must have blown away

Turned out to be a nice day. Went for a walk before dinner and spotted the osprey in a tree near his nest – guess he decided he needed some quiet time and wanted to eat alone
