Last morning in Vermont. View from the Squire House

Another beautiful day in Vermont
I try to take a photo of red barn every time we are at the Squire House

Decided to take a drive to Kelly Stand Road. It’s been years since we were there. A lot of the leaves had fallen but a got a couple of good shots

It’s a beautiful day on the Cape. We headed to the Knob but parking lot was full. We stopped a short distance away and I got a couple of good shots

Then we headed to Spohr Gardens.

Then we headed back to the Inn and I decided to walk on the beach. Lots of people on the beach and even thought it’s only 61 degrees people were sunbathing

Headed back to Inn and sitting on deck with a glass of wine and a book. Life is good
Spotted Hank on our morning walk

Can’t believe one of trees in backyard is changing colors already

Tonight’s sky

Blue skies and sun at last. Four ships were anchored on the bay this afternoon. Traffic on the bridge is a mess. They had to do emergency repairs and traffic backed up 9 miles. This is second time this week

We managed to get our morning walk in but it’s been raining on and off all day

Trying my hand at lace knitting. I tried years ago but had a problem with yarn overs. Last Tuesday at our monthly guild meeting one of the members did a presentation on lace knitting and told us if we can knit and purl then we can do lace knitting. She gave us a pattern to start with so here’s my first attempt of if I can manage this then maybe I can try a lace scarf

Beautiful morning and my walking group decided to walk on Cross Island Trail. We did 6.2 miles.

Tonight’s sunset.
Billy day. Temperatures were only in 50s

Only three ships were anchored on the bay this afternoon
Another gray rainy day. It finally cleared up around 6 pm
We headed back to the state park and falls to get some pictures with sunshine

Taughannock Falls plunges 215 feet past rocky cliffs that tower nearly 400 feet above the gorge
Stopped at a winery for a tasting and spotted this towel. I had to buy it
