Whenever we are in Dorset, we usually take a drive on FS #10 that runs from Danby to Landgrove and then you can continue on to Weston and the Vermont Country Store. Its especially pretty in the fall.

This was the only moose we saw. We have been to Vermont numerous times and have only seen one moose and that one was walking down Route 7 a few miles from Dorsety
If you are ever in Stowe, Vermont be sure and stay at the Stone Hill Inn. We have been there 4 times and if we lived closer than 7 hours we would be there several times a year. It’s one of our favorite bed and breakfasts. This is just part of the beautiful gardens.

Decided to head back to Hapgood Pond. This time we wore our hiking boots so we could walk around the pond. Good thing we did – there was still snow and ice on the trail.

Rainy morning and early afternoon but we ventured out. Went to Weston and sampled a lot of goodies at Vermont Country Store and then noticed the mist on the water and stopped to take pictures
