We weren’t sure what all these sticks were so we went on line and found a picture with a note that these are erosion sticks. 8,000 acres or 12 sq miles of marsh land have been lost since the park was established. The sticks are just one of several different methods to help restore some of the wetlands

Another great trip out west to Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park and Jackson. This time we had sunshine, rain, snow, sleet, rain and sometimes all in one day. However, this area looks beautiful no matter what the weather is. Fall and spring are the best times to go.
