Our first time in Stockbridge, Mass. in the Berkshire Mts. Had heard a lot about the Berkshires while I was growing up and we have passed thru there several times while on our way to Maine and New Hampshire – so we decided to stop and spend a couple of days here. While out and riding around we found this pond right alongside the road and managed to take a few shots. Lilies were white, pink and yellow. We could not get as close as we would like but liked this one the best

Day 1 of vacation. We decided to drive through Catskill and see if anything had changed and discovered that Catskill has cat sculptures all around the main street. Cat’n around Catskill. I was hard to get a good picture of any of the cats because of all of the background – we liked this one the best.

Another hot day – it’s the 10th day in a row that temperatures have been 95 or above. Cold front is supposed to come tomorrow – sure hope so

Stopped by the library to drop off some books this morning and took this shot. A local garden club is now taking care of the grounds and everything looks so pretty and inviting. They even installed a bench where you can sit and relax.

Wanted to do something red, white and blue for the holiday but since it was so hot i just headed to the marina and got this shot of reflection the water.

Life is slowly getting back to normal. Still very warm – so decided to take a short walk and see if the big tree limb that fell on the road was cleared. Tree limb was cleaned up but there are still wires laying on the ground where the limb fell. When we got to the marina it was later than usual and the water reflections were not as good as usual – this was the best of the bunch.

Still no power at home so went to Marc’s house for dinner and to keep cool. After dinner, decided to go for a short walk and took this shot with an IPhone. When we got back to Marc’s place decided to check and see if our electric was back on and surprise surprise – it was back on Yea!
