Went out to check on the sky and noticed the sun setting between two houses. We have lived here over 5 years and I have never seen this before.
The sun might be so red because of the wildfires in Canada

Happy Mother’s Day everyone. My husband knows I am bored sitting around so he suggested we go for a drive. We went to the other end of the Island. We have only been there once
There is an osprey perched on the piling
If you look closely there may have been a nest on top of the piling
Not sure what kind of traps these are

Went to Doctors for post op appointment and I don’t have to use a walker anymore. Yeah. Stitches come out next week. Had a great conversation with the Dr. He is a fellow photographer and also uses Nikon cameras
On the way home Clouds over the bay. Michael was driving
Now that I don’t have to use a walker I was able to go outside on the deck and capture the sunset

Checked out a bunch of books from library since I have to take it easy for a while. Currently reading Simply Lies by David Baldacci. So lucky we have such a great library close by
