Decided to stop at Federal Hill on my way to work this morning. Took a bunch of pictures and liked this one the best because there were still some red leaves on the trees, the tree trunk looked interesting and you can see the office building I work in in the background.
Busy day today. Had to make a goodie for a co-worker when I got home from work. Then it off to knitting with the girls. Took a few pictures but they didn’t come out so decided to use a picture that I took on Thursday.

How can it be Monday already? Where did the weekend go? One of the positive things about the shorter days is that I get to see some pretty amazing sunrises on my way to work. Stopped to take a bunch of pictures this morning and it was really hard to decide on just one.

Another cold, chilly, overcast day. Michael still has a cold so didn’t want to spend much time outside. We did go see the movie Lincoln. Great movie. These flowers are on my kitchen island

A cold front blew in during the night Most of the leaves are now on the lawn and brrrr it’s much colder. It was overcast most of the day but did spot this little bit of blue in the afternoon.

Since I was the only one in our group working today, I had to go to the bank. Went to our usual branch but the fire alarm was going off and they would not let anyone in the building. So I decided to walk to the other branch. The other branch is located in the B&O building that was built in 1906. It is now the Hotel Monaco. The lobby is very ornate and has two stone staircases, lots of stained glass and other ornate details. Took a whole bunch of pictures and it was hard to decide which ones to post. I thought the table lamp was too bright so I tried to turn the light off – only to have the knob on the lamp fall off. I quickly looked around but luckily no one saw me – so I put it back on the table right by the base.
