A trip to Jackson Hole is not complete unless you stop at Mormon Row. Hard to decide which picture we liked the best
When we stopped to take pictures of the angry studebaker, I noticed these two barns and how great they looked with the fall foliage
Barns on Dorset Hollow Road
On our way to Dorset, Vermont we decided to stop at the Jenne Farm near Woodstock. The farm is the most photographed farm in Vermont. Pictures of the farm have been on the cover of Yankee magazine and Vermont Life. It has also appeared in a Budweiser commercial and in two movies – Forrest Gump and Funny Farm. We don’t remember seeing it in Forrest Gump – will have to watch that movie again. The colors are just starting to change in Vermont so there is not a lot of color yet.
Spotted these barns on the way to Whitefish so of course we had to pull over and stop and take some photos
Not all barns are red
Took this at the alpaca farm. Could not resist the red barns and the mountains in the background.
Shortly after we got back to the bed and breakfast there was a bad thunderstorm. There was one clap of thunder that was so loud it scared us all. There was a lightning strike nearby and it knocked out the phones, internet and tv service at the bed and breakfast we are staying at. Service did not get restored until late this afternoon so that’s why I am just now posting pictures from yesterday.
Busy running errands today. On the way back home, I asked my husband to drive by the park to see if we could get any pictures. Love the colors in this one.
