Last morning in Vermont. 4 days went by fast. we have been going to the Squire House in Dorset for over 10 years

Norwegian Wood Piles. It’s a space saving wood stacking technique. Once the barn was full of firewood they had to find a place for the rest of the firewood.
Made it home in time to see the sunset
Rainy day in Vermont So what better time to go to my favorite bookstore. The Northshire Decisions decisions. Then we rode around looking for good photo ops
The leaves are starting to fall
Foggy morning but it turned into a beautiful day. We drove alongside of lake George and then headed to Fort Ticonderoga. We both remember being there as kids. Then we drove to Crown Point and then took a long drive back to Saratoga on a lot of country roads. The scenery was beautiful.
The only downside was we left one of our cameras in the hotel and the one we left in the SUV had a dead battery so we had to rely on our iPhones

My community just finished upgrading two of our small beaches. Today, I headed to the one at the end of our street. The leaves and the patterns in the sand caught my eye but I can’t decide whether I like the light or dark background

Decided to stop by the marina and see if there was any ice in the river. It was low tide and there was just a bit of ice on the shoreline. Could not decide which picture I liked better
