Stopped at the library this morning to drop off some books. The flowers caught my eye. It was so hot and humid that the pictures ended up with a misty dreamy look. Could not decide which one I liked the best. It was 97 degrees this afternoon and it’s supposed to be hot all week.

Stopped at the library on my way to work to drop off some books. Thought I would take a few pictures just in case nothing else inspired me today. Can you tell how humid it was. It reached 90 degrees today and right now we are in midst of a thunderstorm

As I was driving out of the library parking lot I spotted these coneflowers. At least I think that’s what they are. Since I had never seen any this color I had to stop and take some photos, When I got closer I noticed the spider. Only had my point and shoot camera with me and wasn’t sure how clear the spider would show up.

Decided to stop by the library on the way home and see if anyone brought back some new best sellers over the weekend Managed to pick up four books. On my way back to the car, I was wondering what to do for my photo today – something besides flowers for a change. I have always liked this bench in the library gardens and thought I would give take a couple of shots

Stopped by the library to drop off some books this morning and took this shot. A local garden club is now taking care of the grounds and everything looks so pretty and inviting. They even installed a bench where you can sit and relax.

Stopped at the library tonight to pick up a new supply of books. A local garden club now takes care of the gardens. They are doing a great job. On the way out, I put my books down and took several photos. Thought this one turned out the best.

Really busy day today and did not have a lot of time to take photos. I stopped at the library on the way home tonight to pick up a book and lo and behold there were all these beautiful flowers on the walkway to the library. What a nice surprise! So of course, I had to put my book downs and take a few photos.
