The Bollman Truss Railroad Bridge is the sole surviving example of a revolutionary design in the history of American Bridge engineering. It’s one of the oldest standing iron railroad bridges in the USA It was built in 1852 and was moved to Savage in 1887.
The old tobacco barn was moved from Gambrills. The only part of the barn that is original is the interior framing. It was really interesting to see the old tools If you look closely you can see all the different size wagon wheels.
