We decided to go to Wolf’s Head State Park before we left Freeport. Found a nice trail through the woods that was alongside of Casco Bay. The rain held off until we left – thank goodness.

Latimer Reef Light is located about a mile north of the eastern point of Fishers Island. Latimer Reef and its attendant light were named to honor a patriot spy who was captured on the reef and subsequently hanged.

Three different view of the Watch Hill Light. It was first built as a watchtower to warn local residents of naval and pirate attacks. The current structure was built in 1806
