Before we left Dorset this morning, had to stop and take a few pictures. This is the Three Pears Gallery. Even though it is right next to the Dorset Union Store that we have been in numerous times we had never been in the gallery until this visit.

If you are ever in Dorset, you should stop and have dinner at the Dorset Inn. We had a delicious dinner and even tasted Truffle Fries for the first time. We had never heard of truffle fries before his trip and when we saw them on the menu, we asked the waitress what they were. While she was explaining them to us, the two people next to us said they were delicious and even offered us some fires. Yummy – now to see if they have them in Maryland so we can have an entire order

Whenever we are in Dorset, we always go for a drive on Dorset Hollow Road. It rained yesterday and the wind picked up so a lot of leaves have fallen already

On our way to Dorset, Vermont we decided to stop at the Jenne Farm near Woodstock. The farm is the most photographed farm in Vermont. Pictures of the farm have been on the cover of Yankee magazine and Vermont Life. It has also appeared in a Budweiser commercial and in two movies – Forrest Gump and Funny Farm. We don’t remember seeing it in Forrest Gump – will have to watch that movie again. The colors are just starting to change in Vermont so there is not a lot of color yet.
