Another beautiful weekend. Went to Downs Park. This is a view of the Turtle Pond. We only spotted a small turtle and then some kids stopped by with some food for the turtles. Once they started throwing the food in the water it was like the dinner bell went off.

Drove by the library and was surprised to see all the election signs. This is only part of the signs. They are on other side of the driveway and the opposite side of the street. Then it dawned on me that people can vote early for the primary at the library. Last year was the first year for this.

Stopped raining so walked around the yard to see how our new plantings are doings. Daisies are my favorite and they seem to be doing great.

Had to go to our downtown Baltimore Office today. So of course I had to get a photo of the Inner Harbor. Traffic was heavy tonight – I do not miss the daily commute to Baltimore

I have been trying to get a picture of a blue heron in our neighborhood for a long time. Went for a walk this morning since I figured it might be too hot and humid tonight. As I rounded the curve to the boat launching site, I was shocked to see the heron just posing there on the dock. I turned the camera on, checked my setting and slowly walked closer. Took a bunch of pictures and then slowly walked a little closer took some pictures and then slowly walked a little closer. As an added bonus, a duck swamp by. After I snapped a bunch of pictures, I changed the settings on the camera to action as I figured he was going to take off pretty soon and sure enough – he did – I got a couple of shots before he disappeared. This one turned out the best

Another beautiful day so we decided to head to Patuxent Research Refuge since we had not been there in a while. Love the clouds against the blue sky.
